Together with our 36 Alliance Members, we work to ensure no parent feels alone. Ever.
The pandemic placed extra weight on families who have a child or adult with special needs. It reinforced the need for adequate emotional support as a pillar of stability and well-being that all families need to thrive.
We are proud to report that our member organizations were quick to respond to the crisis – offering virtual support groups, making their volunteer training available online, and partnering with local agencies to communicate updated policies for families raising children who have disabilities. As a national organization, we strived to do our part, supporting their staff members and giving them access to new tools, trainings, and networking opportunities.
