How P2P Matches Work

Parents who are raising a child with disabilities or special health care needs often feel overwhelmed and isolated. Parent to Parent organizations connect parents who face similar challenges in raising their children with disabilities or special health care needs. Parents are matched, based on their request, with a trained Support Parent who has walked a similar path. Each year, more than 14,000 parents in need receive emotional support, information, and resources through a one-to-one match.

How it works: 1- contact your local P2P organization, 2- your P2P Coordinator selects a Support Parent, 3 - your Support Parent contacts you
